JBMS Uniforms
All JBMS students are required to wear our school uniform. We have chosen Navy and Khaki as our uniform colors. Based on input from parents and suggestions by our uniform companies, we have chosen the following items for the uniforms:

Girls Uniforms
  • KHAKI Skorts/Shorts
  • KHAKI Pants/Cords
  • NAVY Polo-Style Shirts (long and short sleeved) w/ JBMS logo
  • NAVY Turtlenecks w/ JBMS logo (if worn as undergarment,logo not needed)
  • NAVY Sweaters w/ JBMS logo
  • NAVY Sweatshirts w/ JBMS logo
  • White/Navy/Khaki socks or tights (Please refrain from sending your daughters in colored/patterned tights, as they are a distraction to the children)




Boys Uniforms

  • KHAKI Shorts
  • KHAKI Pants/Cords
  • NAVY Polo-Style Shirts (long and short sleeved) w/ JBMS logo

Where to Buy

We have chosen Lands' End as our uniform providers. All items bearing a logo must come from Lands' End; no other companies are authorized to apply our logo. A representative of our school has decided the size, thread colors and the products to which the logo may be applied. Lands' End is not permitted to change the logo or apply it to any colors, product, or location on the item that the school has not authorized.

All tops (shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts) and jumpers/dresses must have the JBMS logo on it. The tops are only to be ordered in Classic Navy. DELETE from here to end of sentence: and the jumpers are to be order only in Khaki. Catalogs for Lands' End are located in the school office.

The skorts, shorts and pants may be purchased from our uniform provider or from any store of your choice, but they must be khaki. You also have the option to buy the socks, tights, shoes and other miscellaneous accessories from either of our uniform providers or from any store of your choice, but you must stay in our color scheme of navy and khaki.

Using the Lands'End custom school website is easy as 1, 2, 3.

  • Step 1: Go online to landsend.com/school.
  • Step 2: Click on "Find your school's dress code" to look up your school
    and enter your school's online store. (listed under school name: Julia Brown Montessori School, State: MD, City: Columbia
  • Step 3: After you've ordered all your school uniform items, you can
    continue shopping the rest of landsend.com.

replacement cost for parents.

Returns can be made at any Sears store where Lands' End is sold
with no restocking charge; and replacement orders are shipped free
of charge.

Lands' End offers free hemming on girls' and boys' pants.

Parents can have their children try on similar styles at the Lands' End Shop at Sears as well as get free shipping on orders placed there and take returns there as well.
